Chiamate di continuo a rispondere di questo confronto senza possibilità di scampo in nessuna intervista, le 2 band smentiscono e, stando a quanto dichiarato, tra i Cinema Bizarre e il paladino mascarato di “Monsoon”, al secolo Bill Kaulitz, pare non esserci relazione alcuna, fatta eccezione naturalmente per il fatto che entrambi i gruppi arrivino dritti dritti dalla Germania e, pensiamo noi anche se loro insistono a smentire, abbiano quantomeno lo stesso parrucchiere.
Il confronto fra le 2 band del resto, almeno in patria, non accenna a farsi da parte, complice non tanto la musica quanto piuttosto quel look spudoratamente androgino che si può vedere, dove più dove meno, sul fronte di entrambe le formazioni.
I Cinema Bizzarre, a differenza dei Tokio che si sono formati praticamente sui banchi di scuola alla maniera per così dire artigianale di quando le cose s’iniziano da bambini, sono figli dell’era della rete e non solo per quel guardaroba un po’ pirata e un po’ futurista: appassionati di manga, i 5 di Berlino si sono conosciuti infatti chattando in un forum a tema e proprio da lì, a quanto pare, è nata l’idea di tutto quello che sarebbe successo dopo, vale a dire il progetto di fondare un vero e proprio gruppo e fare della fascinazione comune per un certo modo di proporsi non solo un discorso di fard e paillettes ma anche uno stile, un modo di essere, un suono.
Autori di melodie ad effetto, ipnotiche e rockettare al punto giusto, i Cinema Bizzarre si formano nel recentissimo gennaio scorso e già in agosto, complice l’uscita del loro primo video “Love Songs they kill me”, balzano di colpo agli onori delle ribalte mediatiche di tutta la Germania: canali musicali, radio, riviste specializzate e chi più ne ha più ne metta hanno iniziato a contenderseli di prepotenza facendo di loro un vero e proprio caso, portato avanti a suon di un tam-tam continuo di interviste, ospitate, servizi fotografici e un clamore tale e tanto da non avere niente da invidiare a quello delle star.
Per la cronaca i Cinema Bizarre, che oltre alla passione per la musica e quella per i manga condividono anche un appartamento in quel di Berlino vicino a Zoologischer Garten, rispondono ai nomi (d’arte) di Strify, Luminor, Yu, Kiro e Shin, e sull’onda del successo fulmineo appena riscosso e soprattutto dell’imminente lancio del primo album che è pronto ad invadere gli stores proprio in questi giorni, pare progettino addirittura di far partire al più presto un tour all’estero in cerca di fama più duratura e, soprattutto, più grande.
Che la fretta sia una cattiva consigliera questo lo sappiamo tutti, ma questi cinque estrosi ragazzi di Berlino sembrerebbero, almeno per quel che si è visto finora, l’eccezione che conferma la regola: fare tutto velocemente, di getto, in rapida sequenza, macinando in pochi mesi tappe che altri portano avanti nel giro di anni ha portato con sé fama e fortuna, e appunto i nostri eroi non hanno nessunissima intenzione di fermarsi qui.
Il leader e cantante della formazione tedesca più glam del momento, alias Strify, ha recentemente del resto dichiarato ai microfoni di VivaLive, versione teutonica del più internazionale MTV, che “tutto quello che ci è successo finora, a partire dal fatto di essere nati così eccentrici e non convenzionali, è un segno chiaro e inequivocabile di quello che è il nostro destino, vale a dire restare uniti, portare avanti la nostra energia e diffondere dagli spalti non solo la nostra musica, cioè quella che noi abbiamo in mente nelle nostre teste e che abbiamo voglia di condividere, ma anche e soprattutto il nostro stile, che non è affatto semplicemente un guardaroba quanto piuttosto un vero, amatissimo, modo di essere che ci contraddistinguerà sempre”.
Dunque i Cinema Bizarre, fieri e sicuri della loro identità, scalpitano dai blocchi di partenza e sono pronti, determinati più che mai, a invadere l’Europa.

La Germania continua a sfornare boyband dopo il gruppo rivelazione dei Tokio Hotel adesso Tocca ai Cinema Bizarre conquistare l’europa. Si tratta di 5 ragazzi che nel 2005 si sono incontrati durante un congresso sui manga giapponesi e da allora non si sono più separati dando vita cosi vita al gruppo. La band adotta un suono che spazzia tra il glam rock fino al new wave ,i 5 componenti i cui nomi d’arte sono Kiro (bassista) Strify (cantante) Yu (chitarrista) Shin (batterista) Luminor (tastierista, cantante) assumono un look molto particolare che si rifa ai personaggi dei più celebri manga. Il primo singolo che li ha resi celebri in Germania si chiama “Love Song ( They Kill Me) “, un pezzo dalle atmosfere cupe e molto coinvolgente…Molti hanno definito i Cinema Bizarre come i cloni dei Tokio Hotel, ma non so sinceramente io li trovo molto più bravi anche dal punto di vista musicale mi sembrano molto più sperimentali… Molto particolare il video e dark al punto giusto per conquistare tutte le ragazzine italiane…vi lascio alla visione….
